Membership

The philosophy and purpose of the Kitchener-Waterloo Oldtimers’ Hockey Club Inc. is: “to provide recreation enjoyment for its members in a game that is played safely and fairly within the rules. The name of the game is FUN for all members and winning is secondary.”

“New members can join the league by entering your Application for the 2026-27 season on-line.”
“Returning players can register for the 2026-27 season by logging in to GameOn.”

Health Tips

Pre-game warm up – stretch, skate a few laps and then stretch again.

Don’t eat a large meal or drink alcohol before a game.

Notify your captain of medical conditions (history of strokes/heart attacks, high blood pressure, diabetes, medical alert bracelet, existing injuries, etc.) in case anything happens during the game.

Awards

At the 2026 AGM the Jack Kirby Oldtimer of the Year was presented to Dave Gillies.

Dave’s contribution as Director of On-Ice operations/Health and Safety was recognized for the dedication and passion he brings to this role. Dave has been instrumental in helping to improve our league and in keeping the members safe.
